They spent two whole years s***ting on Drake (rightfully) for running to lawsuits, saying "suing ain't hip-hop!" just for them to start praising Outkast for it
They saying "Outkast has to protect their name and brand! What if Ovrkast got caught up in something bad and people said it was Outkast!"
1. That's never going to f***in happen.
2. If it does, that is a direct result of people not being able to read, or not reading past a headline.

When Drake's legal team was saying his lawsuit was to protect his name and image from defamation y'all still called it wack, even though there was actually stronger case to be made about libel and defamation there than what Outkast is doing with their lawsuit trying to claim ownership of "Ovrkast" Drake sued because he lost a beef that he made focused on foul accusations outside of rap. allegations that lead to Kendrick calling him a PDF (Taylor Made) and then sued when all of that led to Not Like Us. He literally introduced all of thatYour 1. is an assumption and 2. doesn't matter. None of this is gonna change my opinion on their music and their contributions outside of music, whether as a group or as solo acts.
I am gonna look at them a lil funny as OGs in the music industry though because they have literally gone through this same kinda s*** when they were younger acts. So they should understand that suing a nigga over a name that looks similar (I'm too well-read and my vision too good to agree with this I'm sorry) is extra as hell and pretty lame

I also do believe andre recent musical output is creatively derivative and wouldnt be nearly as embraced if he aint make it.
My viewpoint on this: i still think this lawsuit lame. Ovrkast is also lame for folding initially and not just standing on business from the jump.

So this is the part of the agreement that was made verbally between both of their legal representation.
At some point after this "verbal agreement", I'm assuming Ovrkast declined the new name that Outkast and his legal representation came up with, and he submitted the spelling changes "Ovrcast" and "Overcxst". For some reason though, possibly because it was beyond the deadline, the new spelling changes were declined by Outkast's legal representation.
This was a post from Ovrkast himself before it was deleted likely at the request of his legal representation.
