    Disappointed with their Le Petit Soldat release tbh. If the annual B&N sales didn't exist, I probably wouldn't buy it.

    What’s the negative outcome? It gives a chance for Netflix releases to be bought physically

    Netflix pressures them to release s*** that criterion possibly shouldn't worry about while some films that actually need a good release don't get the attention they need.

    And not like Netflix couldn't release Blus themselves if they wanted to..

    although this is kind of true. I don't think The Irishman would ever get a Criterion release if it wasn't a NF release
