slightly related note, US embassies are shut down as well as passport renewals. my passport expired like a month ago and if i wanted to fly back to the states now i wouldn't be able to unless it's for an emergency (somebody dying).

I used to follow news out of China religiously because I trade crypto. My family and I have a dinner the night before Christmas Eve every year, and I spoke to all of them December 23 2019 about a possible pandemic. They all laughed in my face and called me crazy.

I’ve been isolating pretty much since early January, and despite the fact that pretty much everything I told my family and some friends has come to pass, I still have no idea what to believe.

I caved a few days ago for the first time in like three months (by far the longest period of my life without s***tbh) and f***ed this fine ass b**** in my home who was also self isolating because her dad is immunocompromised. She just told me a friend of her sister’s tested positive for antibodies (but apparently negative for the actual virus) and they’re gonna get tested soon, so now I’m worried. Idk what to think.

Is there anyone here that has actually witnessed someone with or actually had the virus? Anyone who has actually been in the ICU, anyone who can more or less testify as to the veracity of everything that’s going on?
