Yall aint learned to stop biting @2words bait in 2025 yet?
Ngl he's cooking in here
A lot of y'all try to detract from Wayne because he doesn't have a MBDTF or a TPAB in his discography and yet he's arguably more influential and impactful than both respective artists that do have it lol
It seems like discographies are weighed heavy depending on who the artist is
Bro itt telling people their opinion is invalid but says Carter 6 is good
I mean C5 certainly isn't much better than C6 as an entire package if we're keeping it a stack
That album is f***ing trash lol
Not surprising.
Pusha T has been consistent and top of his game for years. Wayne has been garbage for more than a decade.
Album does well = look at the numbers
Album does bad = Its about quality who cares about sales
Like pick a side. Yall be flip flopping.
Yes. Numbers are something to be celebrated, nothing more nothing less. It's not a metric for quality. Quality is certainly a factor but there's so many more factors it's dumb. But if a quality album is doing well it's worth celebrating it. Especially if it could potentially encourage other artists to put this much effort into their art

Nah C5 was good tbh.

I think C5 was pretty bad but that didn't get as much hate cause everybody understood the messy situation and gave a legend grace lol. He had no excuse for C6 it was just a bad album. If it was called literally anything else it wouldn't get as much hate

Him and Nicki are rappers where influence gives them credence as legends more than discography.
No one is saying Wayne isnt influential, he is.
But discography matters. Wayne has been on a downward eminem like spiral for a minute now dawg. Why is it wrong to acknowledge that?
Eminem is also influential but yall dont give him the grace yall give Wayne. Hmm.
It was niggas on here using Wayne’s album in comparison when the Clipse were projected to sell last than C6 as a reason why LGSEO flopped. Now niggas is upset the convo is opposite? Lol

And while yes in their heyday, you was looked at funny for liking them “weird Star Trak niggas”
I think it’s safe to say history’s absolved all those fans due to how all those projects have aged tbh

Discography does matter. But not to the point where it quite literally makes or breaks someone as an artist lol
Eminem is in my top 5 of all time off of his early run alone. I personally don’t really care about an artist’s misses that much, and certainly not to the point where I question their artistry as a whole just because they lose their stride
The discography s*** is a farce because as soon as anyone mentions how Michael Jackson really only had a three hot album run, people bring up impact and numbers
Bowie, Stevie, and hell even Zappa to an extent have way more consistent album material and it’s essentially sacrilege to even argue for them against MJ. That’s fine but it’d be nice if the standards were consistent

You would say that
Because the venn diagram of Em and Wayne fans is a circle.
For an outkast fan yall love to dismiss Andre’s “you only good as your last cut” line.
And if yall dont want these rappers to be compared then tell them to stop dropping music then! You choose to put your jersey on then you still a participant. Yall cant change the goalposts just cause he lost a step while a nigga older than him hasn’t.
That’s hypocritical asf and would not fly if this argument was flip flopped.

Name the equivalent of a late past your prime career hit from wayne.
S*** is deadass clockwork
“Discography is the most important metric for an artist!!!”
“Okay, here’s some artists that had arguably just as good of a discog, if not stronger than MJ”
“Aura!!! He was an icon!!”
I’m just gonna go to bed man
