Sure but there’s no way you’re drawing the line at her in regards to faithfulness in the adaptation. Nolan’s take on the story takes gigantic liberties. Nolan’s calypso is such a misdemeanor in comparison.

Also, the lotus flowers make Odysseus forget about everything. It brings him peace in that way since he is a deeply guilt ridden man. That’s why he loves eating the flowers

That last hour hit like crack. First half felt extremely surreal because Odysseus was recounting his past, and I think nolan hit it on the head with this. Not sure I completely enjoyed but I did like it for surre.

The last hour is some of the best Nolan has ever done.
