That last hour hit like crack. First half felt extremely surreal because Odysseus was recounting his past, and I think nolan hit it on the head with this. Not sure I completely enjoyed but I did like it for surre.
The last hour is some of the best Nolan has ever done.
Also, Tom Holland hate makes 0 sense and is not warranted at all, he did what he needed to do. Matt Damon f***in killed it
They wanted him yelling and screaming back at his mom. Not yelling and crying = bad acting!

na fr haha, it was such a breath of fresh air seeing him on screen, he nailed it. just the typical naive ignorant kid who wants to live up to his dad

Bernthal was easily worst imo. Just felt like an ancient version of the punisher to me lol. Don’t think he was necessarily bad he just had the weakest performance.

He never truly becomes someone else in his roles. It’s almost like he’s eternal like you said, just slides the scale back to whenever his role is supposed to be and plays a variation of himself

yeah i 100% agree. just underwhelming but his role wasnt that big regardless
I....I cant even s***post and troll. This was legit a masterpiece breh. My gf and I talked about it the whole way home and kept saying that was such a good f***ing movie. It was like an hour trip that felt like 10 minutes. She then mentioned cerce and I was like holy s***! You couldve made that the main scene in any horror movie and people would've flipped. And we both forgot about it. That's how good it was.
CINEMA!
Had an extremely respectful crowd at my showing but that’s why I go at 7am on Saturday
Man oh man just how s***ty is the experience of going to the movies when it's come down to this
this is one of the best movies ive ever watched. the trailers are horrenous, i expected a s***show

I also start my day at 440 so 745 is nothing to me lol
You never traveled for an event before?
nope but i might make a trip to dallas for this ngl
Projected 264.1M global opening, his biggest so far

Deserved. I legit can't even imagine what he can do after this. He can't really go bigger besides a full on war picture.
Blew my mind checking watch after Cyclops and Circe fearing that 2 hours had already passed, and it had only been 80 minutes...
IMAX 1.43 was brilliant especially not having ratio changes fort he first real time. Thought I'd be interested in rewatching in on another IMAX screen but lowkey wanna check out normal 70mm for different viewing environment.
