yeah TDKR is easily Nolan’s worst movie by a mile lol
I don’t count Following cause that’s just a straight up student film
Insomnia and Tenet
Insomnia and Tenet
haven’t seen Insomnia in a minute tbh but it’s def bottom 2 for me
Tenet might not be perfect but I’ll take it over TDKR any day
TDKR would get a much lower critic score today if it came out lol. Critics and audiences overlooked a lot of its flaws on the first watch
im 20 mins in and its lit

As a standalone movie yes. As part of that trilogy no.
Nolan's batman trilogy is a big reason why people have such high standards for superhero movies. They used to be trash or mid.

spider man 2 and x men 2 were mid?
Kind of.
I liked the og xmen trilogy, but you can't deny that production levels and acting were on par with the Nolan verse.
They're comparable to TDKR as standalone movies, but the production quality is significantly higher for TDKR.

Avoided watching this film for a while because of the s***ty reviews, but I actually thoroughly enjoyed this s***. It was mindfucking but in a good way, I didn't feel insulted by my lack of understanding. Solid 7-8/10 film good s***
