Tenet has no emotional depth.
Sound mixing was bad in theaters, might be fixed now on digital releases
Very cheesy/corny/cliche dialogue sprinkled throughout
Not really a spy movie at all, although technically this isn’t a bad thing but apparently it was supposed to be his take on spy film

Other than that tho it’s pretty good but those are big things

I really thought about this after seeing some comments about army of the dead. Niggas really mad that omar walked in an atomic fallout but f***ing robot zombies is realistic?!?

I get that this is a superhero movie,but its supposed to be a grounded approach,the whole movie is f***ing lazy lmfao

-bane keeps motorcycles in the stock exchange building and nobody bats an eye,robs the place in the middle of the day,suddenly it turns to night as hes driving

-bane breaks him in half in the first fight,but in the end batman somehow beats him(literally does a few push ups to train or some s***,and he just punches harder and beats the guy who broke him in half)

-bruce has part of his spinal chord poking out of his skin,gets it punched a few times,makes a couple of pushups and he is brand new

-every single cop in the city for some reason goes into the sewers(this literally has never and will never happen),probably the worst part of the movie

-catwoman and robin writing is so f***ing lazy too

-Gordon got shot to death,literally the dude was barely alive and the next day hes hanging outside of the truck like some acrobat lmfao

• "How did Alfred know Bane's backstory? How did Bane know where the hidden warehouse of tanks and gadgets was located? When Bane pulls Miranda out of line for exile, the next scene has Wayne taken in to see Fox and Miranda, who is randomly just back with all the captives and not with Bane. And when Batman saves Gordon on the ice, he asks "Where is Miranda?" Uh...you saw her last, idiot."

Always did think it was weird that the chase went from day to night though even as a kid lol

embarrassing third act, you can tell Nolan didn't even want to make it in the first place

even when his scripts are messy Nolan always directs the hell out of his movies (besides him not really having fully figured out how to do action until Dunkirk) but on TDKR he was completely checked out

not to mention that s*** is essentially a Blue Lives Matter movie which really does not hold up today lmao

Nolan himself even said the movie was inspired by the Occupy Wall Street movement

I don’t think he meant anything insidious by it but those themes fall flat on its face and really have not helped the movie age well at all

you can acknowledge that certain messaging is a product of it’s time while also acknowledging that that messaging has not aged well and works to the movie’s detriment in the current day
