Dunkirk had better use of camera angles (more diverse shots) & overall better cadence - but BR2049 easily felt more immersive.

Nah man. Dunkirk in IMAX 70mm was the most immersive movie experience I've ever been to

The Freeport action scenes and highway scenes easily the best action set pieces of Nolan’s career

He continually just gets better and better. Even the hand held scenes, which Nolan has always been awful at, looked fantastic here.

Tbh though with that said, my all time favorite Nolan set pieces are still the opening scene of Dunkirk, the highway chase in TDK, and the hallway fight scene in Inception. Freeport/Highway scenes in Tenet is probably #4 and 5 though. S*** even the final set piece is absolutely wild. Might be the wildest thing Nolan has ever filmed

this movie is just about beautiful rich people doing cool s*** with time in different settings. thats the real plot

cool, classic action flick with an extremely throw away plot and kinda no soul. really felt like nolan just attached the story for him to play around with these new ideas/visuals. it still worked tho!

Pretty sure that clip (and a longer version of it) was one of the first ones spread around twitter as production promo a couple years before release
