Fury’s got a top tier boxing IQ but I also think he uses it to his advantage on cherry picking fights. Knows who to avoid. AJ’s conditioning, power and speed in his prime would always give fury problems. Fury even admitted that when they sparred back in the day. AJ isn’t the “stiff dosser” the casuals like to claim.

Just look at what Francis did to fury. As a boxer Francis was AJ lite and fury showed he’d struggle with someone that could put pressure on him and it was his first ever fight.

But my main point is AJ hate is unnecessary and really should be more focused on his two other champions of his era that ducked fighting him. Unlike wilder and fury AJ has a good resume and never ducked anymore. Something wilder and fury couldn’t say with a straight face.
