See f*** is this bullshit? This is what I’m talking about with anti black rhetoric being the driving force behind this s***.

Called black men financially incompetent and deadbeats, said we are colorist and said our only legacy is living pat 25? How the f*** does this have anything to do with black male privilege? One of you goofy ass niggas explain this. It’s all just niggas hating niggas

There’s a way you can talk about male privilege without tearing black men down and making it come from a place of hatred for blackness.

  • RX Nigerian Pastor

I get it that every race of men has problems with their women, privilege exist for men, no doubt.

but I don’t think they broadcast it the way black folks do on social media for the sake of rts or likes. And let’s keep it real a lot of the time black men and women hate on each other it comes from a place of self hatred for our race and seeking white acceptance.

We already know Chinese and Latino people chase white acceptance and have problems with their women but they don’t broadcast it the way black folks do. It makes us look weak and entertains other races and paints another picture of black dysfunction. You see where I’m coming from?

I get your point, and part me believes the reason why you don't see it being broadcasted by other races is because...well s*** their cultural norms don't let the women speak up. Sit and speak with Asian women and Indian women privately about s*** that goes on within their race and you gonna hear some horror stories. S***, white women try to speak up about s*** they deal with but because the white race is one that runs as a patriarchy you can expect those white women to get buried and/or risk losing some access of whiteness. They'll quickly be treated as a traitor of sorts.

so are you going to provide examples of black male privilege that are systemic and consistent with other forms of oppression? im genuinely interested but all i ever get is someone telling me to read "we real cool" which ive already read and confirms to me that the concept is rooted in pathologizing black men.

Why does it have to be systemic

It is a matriarchy. And it's been that way since the days of slavery as black women during that time had more access, for better and for worse. Which makes it even more wild to see black men do any sort of harm to black women. Our primary role in this matriarchy should be that of the protector. But the energy I've witnessed from other black men shows everything but that. What went wrong along the way? Have black men been trying to chase after the ideas of the white patriarchy for so long that it led to a change in how we view and treat our women?

I feel like this is something that should be discussed more. I think it's niggas who are trying hard to change how we operate as a matriarchy and shift it to a patriarchy despite it hardly being attainable due to us being locked out of the system. Which leads to an obvious clash of structures that ends up being more harmful to the whole of black people than anything else.

To make this entire discussion meet in the middle so we can build from it and talk, "Straight black men are attempting to be the white men of black people, but niggas forget this a matriarchy".

Can y'all stop getting hurt by tweets and let's dialogue on this please?

Why does it have to be systemic

because literally all black groups harm eachother in individual ways?

  • You can’t be pro black while simultaneously being anti straight black man. Y’all shouldn’t waste your time going back and forth with these coons. They’ve become Candace Owens without even realizing it.

Niggas wanna talk about black unity but don’t wanna talk about the groups that constantly further the divide in the black community.
