Lmao yeah it'll probably be trash but still kinda cool if it turns people on to Jimmy Stu
Always considered Jimmy and Cary Grant equals but after seeing Jimmy act circles around Cary in Philadelphia Story

Which Silent Era / Golden Age starlets really do it for you guys?
Recently watched some Joan Crawford and she might place right below Barbara Stanwyck for me. Neck and neck with Gene Tierney. Veronica Lake has the image. Arguably more than Marilyn but Marilyn has the personality to boot.
Couldn't pick Ingrid Bergman out of a lineup.

Joan Fontaine is adorable and so so vulnerable. Same with Setsukuo Hara. Marlene Dietrich is a s***goddess. Katherine Hepburn is just crazy. Louise Brooks intoxicating. Barbara Sranwyck, Joan Crawford and Lauren Bacall gangster as f***. Jean Arthur hilarious. Janet Leigh excellent.
Grace Kelly and Ingrid great but not my favorite

I need to watch another Sternberg/Dietrich to make sure I don't f*** with them. What's my best bet if Shanghai was a slog
Gonna check out Miriam Hopkins work with Lubitsch I think. Love Wilder so I'm sure it'll hit
