people are embarrassed to like mainstream rap artists, which is honestly stupid as s***
Was just kinda surprised to see some of the albums he had on there since he seems like more of a pop fan.
i prob enjoy pop more at this point
but hiphop has the best albums oat tbh
i was also gonna say how people give vince props for this exact reason because of big fish theory.
Yeah and that was after Summertime 06, he probably lost fans but gained new ones with it.
Most I see still have S06 as his best album which is fair, I prefer the latter.
such a great album
i only f***ed with maybe 2 songs no cap.
everyting else was yeah righ yeah right
big fish theory
rain comes down
there is nothing wrong with liking the more obscure s***. why wouldn't you want to see an artist go a more ambitious route to make something more creative and original? i admire that type of s***

. . . DANNY BROWN
that's my nigga I hate it had to be him.
ya that s*** make me sad too cause bruh is definitely one of the best doing it rn
no, because who it reaches can tell a good deal about what the album is
whites flock to any rap project that's "different" and suck it's d***
Danny Brown is literally the quintessential example of this, he's left field as s*** and hipsters whites whatever adore him and will throw him up as their fav hip hop artist in an attempt to seem sophisticated
this is why AE get's a lot of love and he talks about how qtip kind of saved him from the endless loophole of experimenting with uknowwhatImsaying.

nigga was literally stressed out trying to figure out what new sounds he could run up to appease these white niggas
but u don’t think that danny brown is bad because of that right
he loves danny lol
but u don’t think that danny brown is bad because of that right
nah hes a danny brown fan
i gave bh two 9s (it was just one for a long time, but then i realized sat2 deserves the 9 too). but waht if i told you more ktt users rated bh projects higher than i did... even giving em 5 stars
Did they rate ready to die an 8
glad danny stopped worrying about what nerds wanted and made an album he wanted to make
but shouldn’t we judge an album off who it’s meant for rather than who it reaches
Sure but yall dont do this unless it's for rappers yall like

I'll only say this about TPAB. everybody who got that album and played it religiously around my community were older black folks.
it took the younger kids me included a couple listens to be like aight i f*** with this.( I was round 17/18)
so like 30+.
I ain't see white kids f***ing with this unless they played some jazz instruments or some s*** like that. type to go to festivals and s***.
i hang around different white people tho
but u don’t think that danny brown is bad because of that right
of course not LMFAO i LOVE danny, and it's the same w TPAB it's one of my favs from last decade
but i keep an overbearing eye on it's critical acclaim and how much d***riding it gets despite it being a fantastic album, same with Danny being a fantastic artist
it ain't their fault it's the mayozoids
