oh you havent seen this yet. Yeah I thought Raisie was an absolute lunatic until I saw it. I saw the reviews ( didnt really read them) saw trailers and thought "aight this will be a solid fun time"

the trailers were a different vibe than the movie by a little to me. I am fine with it being highly comedic but that isnt at all what the trailers presented it as .

if they wanted it to be that horror focused that should have more been in the trailers.

Upon second watch this is his weakest film but that’s really not saying much cause it’s still damn good

I really like the ending, it gives Sony a perfect layup if they wanna milk this franchise to death like Spider-Man.

I liked this movie but I seen some angry ass YouTuber make a video about how bad the movie is and main character is a simp and the normal meltdown bs yada yada but he did play a funny clip of an interview of Cregger being asked to describe his favorite games in the series and and you can tell he's struggling to answer like he hasn't really played them at least before the 2 remake it was funny. But I mean I don't get what the fuss is why do people want an exact recreation of the games when they can just play em?

Ending definitely seems to be a love it or hate it amongst most. Undoubtedly done to set up a sequel regardless of if a new director has to do it or not

I think PHM is also but not nearly as much as this one. This one is like rapid fire Reddit slop dialogue. PHM atleast does have sincerity behind it and isn’t just cringe Reddit jokes constantly.
