no one wants an exact recreation of the games or many dont . if you listen or read feedback from people who dont want that the issues they have are kind of clear.

the scariest part of this movie is people eating it up like the dialogue , writing, jokes and flow of the movie were just that good . But I mean its like superhero movies but video game movies people shocked its servicable

Conclusion would be a bit better for me if Umbrella were not bumbling idiots. The change to bumbling idiots to be anti ai or tech companies when in the games Umbrella is very competent evil and backstabbing each other threw the whole movie off for me. Maxine was the one smart one and the scientist I supppose who were just cowards. I think if the umbrella parts were dark evil and not so much playing to comedy. Litlte girl herself was serious no comedy. Cop was not comedy either. then basically every other character he interacted with wasnt taking it seroius at all which took me out of it.

Yeah i was expectign there to be more to it when I saw in theaters . So when there wasnt that was definitely an eye roll moment for me. Same as fat man in sewer. Certain set pieces felt like they didnt really reveal much of the world and I knew he wouldnt die so in my minjd they were just a waste of money to make. Wasnt amazed by them. no real tension. No contact made think again movie would have benefitted from seeing more humans or humans being with him longer but get they wanted him to be alone for single player feel just feel it wasnt executed in a meaningful way

umbrella dudes living longer couldve been cool, or really anybody just alive in raccoon city. store clerk, a cop. A couple extra scenes wouldve been nice.
