eh idk, I think the silent hill films from Gans are pretty elite. The cinematography and vfx work is like a perfect recreation of the atmosphere of the games and I think that’s ultimately what truly matters that the adaptation makes you feel immersed as if you were playing the game

Still can’t find any word on whether or not they’ll be holding screenings soon.

This film needs early reviews and reactions, feels like there's little hype from what I've seen so far, word of mouth is going to be important.

Feel like this whole movie is gonna be like the basement sequences in Barbarian.

Movie is currently looking at a $100 million+ worldwide opening weekend, so regardless it’s gonna be a hit.

More so for legs, hopefully it's not just fans for the first week and a huge drop following that..

Literally makes no difference whatsoever. There’s nothing that even emphasizes the time period in either the original or remake, especially considering they possess sci fi technology when it comes to Umbrella Labs.

He never said that though, he never at any point said that this film is canon. He was asked about it and his response was, and I quote “I’d like to THINK that the events in RE2 COULD be occurring at the same time as this.”
