Tranquility@redtruth @DMWR if you're gonna watch Uma Musume but are feeling iffy about it in the first place, I would recommend starting with season 2. That's the season that made everyone start to take the series more seriously as a legitimate sports anime, because honestly, the different in quality between the two seasons is not even close. The seasons follow different main characters so you won't really miss anything except for some irrelevant world building.
im not iffy at all about watching uma musume, im pretty down for it, but i will definitely keep this in mind as i watch so thx for the heads up.
but since you invoked the goat ping pong the animation's name though, ima be going in with certain expectations now for that season 2
