Ichi the killer & homonculus are both by the same author that are hella diff but both are deeply psychological.
ichi the killer was way more entertaining and gripping for me personally cause it has this sick gangster setting, sick violence, sick perversion

im tryna get into d gray man, im into the first mission w my boy n kanda. there is a lot going on, theres a lot of explaining the world n s*** so it hasnt hooked me yet. i love the art style tho. gothic 2000's shounen. 2000s style is very very cool actually. ppl always bring up 90's n s***

also parasyte is very good. comparing the anime to the manga panels its a totally different vibe. cause the manga is from the 90's so it has that nice darker art, while parasyte is just more modern, everything looks more generic. the alien powers are drawn way differently too, in a worse way. i might not ever watch anime anymore
