is it me or do most animes and manga just not really end that well? like dope concepts as stories but the endings are either super divisive boring or just so jarring its stupid. thats just what i think tho

i think the vast majority of anime endings are of similar quality to everything that led up to it

but its also possible you're just watching unfinished adaptations that dont really have good spots to end at

Not an anime/manga specific thing, it's true for all shows and books. It's hard as hell for shows to manage to nail an ending especially if it's multiple seasons, longer something goes the more unlikely the ending will please it's fans imo.

Think about it, off the top of your head how many tv shows or anime are generally accepted as having good to great endings? Compared to all the ones that people are like yea the ending was kinda s***ty, but besides that real good show. It fr is like a handful honestly
