My Dress Up Darling S2 - 8.5

Wow what a season! Definitely a step up from the first season. I liked that they cut off the fan service and focused more on characters dynamics. Enjoyed all the cosplaying stuff and new characters.

A bit of a let down that there was no progression with the romance. They kinda teased us with it the last few episodes but nothing happened. This is the second time they almost f*** lol.

I should also mention the animation and art style are great, very modern and clean and I like the visual humour.

I actually paused the third season of Chihayafuru for some reason. I should just rewatch the whole show atp.

I started watching Mushoku Tensei and I had to drop that s*** bruh. I don't how niggas can stand this pedo MC. Completely irredeemable trash character. Sucks cause the animation + story is pretty good outside of that

the typical anime nerd for some reason can not understand why people take issue with how rudeus is portrayed (basically going from pedophile to super strong sorcerer with several wives etc)

Yeah and him being a pedo isn't ever viewed as a bad thing. Very off-putting and unnecessary. Definitely a larger issue in Japanese culture that pops up too much in anime. It's a shame because the stories be so good but a lot of these authors can't help but insert some perverted s*** involving underage characters. This has to be the worst case I've seen yet tho

like idk just my personal experience living here but aint nobody telling me their favorite anime is mushoku tensei or that they even like it

damn, i'm now finally caught up to berserk. it's interesting to see how little dialog there is since studio gaga and kouji mori took over. some of the more recent chapters had what i'd say was a normal amount for berserk but so many of their chapters have either very little or almost none. miura's writing had this poetic flow to it and that is very much gone now, which is sad. art wise and paneling they've managed to stay true to miura. though i did notice a few panels where sonia looked quite different, almost like two different people drew her across a few pages, not a huge deal though, they were still probably trying to find their footing at that point. story wise, this seems like the natural progression based on miura's final chapter. it's incredibly sad that miura didn't get the opportunity to finish this but i think studio gaga and kouji mori will do him justice
