i read the manga for this when it first came out in japan but i couldnt really get all that into it.
didnt hit like fma...... arakawa a one hit wonder...
Eh so is Lauren Hill. Sometimes that's all you need to do.
Super Creek
Poor Yaeno :(
This show is so good at making you root for multiple characters
Coming around to Gatchiakuta. After 2nd ep of the Amo arc it started getting a bit better. Loved the dub but itās behind now so watchin the subs now which is also good
is to your eternity worth it?, i remember seeing like the first 3 episodes of the first season back in the day, what is it even about?
Definitely, I enjoy it. Even when I feel like an arc starts off weird it always closes a masterpiece.
The show is about an immortal thing who latches onto humanity. Really about the immortals journey.

I read like 30 chapters of this and the story has a lot build up but gets really complex later like FMA. Once the climax of all that build up hit, the story was getting really crazy.
Plus she got like three hits already. FMA is just the popular one in the west. Silver Spoon better
ONE PUUUUUUNCH

is it worth picking up? Or better to read
the artwork in berserk has always been amazing but the changes in scale, density and paneling that occur in the elf island arc are unbelievable

its different levels man.
u talk to 10 random people on the street all 10 know about fma. - they dont even watch anime like that.
theres a decent chance i talk to 10 random people - maybe even 100, not a single one might know about silver spoon.

We were only talking about her hits in Japan and Silver Spoon was a hit over there. Even tho I donāt follow the numbers anymore I think the only series that can do these numbers right now is One Piece and Frieren. A million per volume is in music terms like a Taylor Swift album. The success of FMA is more comparable to something like Thriller but you canāt expect a Manga about farming to reach something she will never replicate anyway

Damn you live in Japan? Thats fire
I mean I get that Silver Spoon is not something you are discussing there with your friends compared to FMA and its def not on that level. But thats just because a hit like FMA is something you get maybe once every 10 years. Something like AoT and now Frieren

i was exaggerating a bit when i said aint nobody readin that but it definitely doesn't fit into my hit category
it has a decently niche audience at least now, maybe it was different when it was being serialized.
not implying anything about its actual quality btw i havent read it so i cant say
just s***posting (i was deadass about tsugai though that s*** was kinda mid)

I think Silver Spoon at the time was something people were reading but there wasn't much to talk about because the story is very straightforward. And the characters aren't really the type that will get a lot of merchandise or anything, so it just died down after the series ended.
I haven't finished it but a lot of people that have read all of Arakawa's Manga put it over FMA. I really liked the characters and the vibe is great. I think Arakawa was a farmer herself and you could see that in the Manga
Someone shoot me a series to watch
