mike always didn't stand on ceremony with saul, but BB created a feeling they are strangers to each other
nah you probably felt like this was the case because of how their relationship naturally is kind of neutral towards each other
They are opposite personalities, they don’t exactly always get along.
Also, the 'it wasn't me it was nacho' thing. Still a little weird to think that's where his head would go after 4 years. Maybe not though.
Feel like they didn't need to leave such a massive gap between Lalo and the start of the Breaking Bad timeline. Just sorta got written into that corner.
Shame too we don't get to see more of Crazy 8 as an informant. Tuco coming back from prison. Hank and Gomie. That's where I thought they were gonna go with this season - and Lalo playing dead successfully for far longer.
same, his end seemed a little “rushed”, as well as him building the saul brand
we saw the start of the office, where franchesca had it all set up differently, but we never saw the transition to what it was, or how he got the liberty float thing from the kettlemans

I actually loved that specific choice tbh
Seems like things are progressing so organically, slowly. Up until we see Saul and Kim in the empty office building after he first bought it
We think we are gonna see it all line up perfectly. It’s what we’ve been expecting to see take shape for 6 seasons
but then after Kim leaves him, we cut abruptly and everything has already happened
It was definitely jarring but I thought it was such a bold choice
can't forget about Bromar either
Were you trolling when u posted that song that u said was gonna be used??? I tried to find anything about that leaking on the internet and couldn’t find anything and realised you might have been joking
missing todd
I still think Todd is a misunderstood character. People tend to get the surface level stuff out of the character but nothing deeper out of him
And i don’t mean misunderstood as if he is a good person either lol
Per insider podcast. Gene doesnt need this money, this is his way of getting over whatever happened on the phone call. Doing these scams numb him to reality

i love the funny aspect of him. that infantile part of his sociopathy is pure. that childish astonishment when walter killed all his family. mr white...
and his ringtone game is simply unmatched
if im being honest tho i spent a decent amount of time skipping through this ep

Weirdly enough Todd comes off as a person who actually believes he was friends with Jesse when they held him as a slave.
He treated him like a pet and “rewarded” him with small things like ice cream and pizza for certain f***ed up tasks, he seems like a person who doesn’t exactly take pleasure in killing others when he needs to but doesn’t really feel bad about doing it.
a lot of people seem to think he takes pleasure in killing others, he just never struck me that way
they definitely wiretapping kim or something tbh. jimmy ending up in jail. quote when right
How would law enforcement knkw about kim though she wasnt in his life until way before he was on any radar

Moron
Jonathan Banks ages 50 years for every 1 standard human year
Blud looks like he’s 800 years old at this point
Wym he looks to me like he aged the least tbh

looks fine to me
y’all nitpicking at this point counting wrinkles
Am i the only one who loved Jesse this ep lol his dynamic with Walt was perfect
Jesse was fine, it's bc he's portraying szn 1-2 Jesse making it jarring.
Moron
it was boring.
couldn't give less of a s*** about dude setting up a mid season tier heist in the last 3 episodes
i wanna rewatch this episode
i liked it, but it's definitely my least favorite of the season so far. i do like the other angle of Saul in BB-era and the parallels between that era and Gene era that are interspliced within the episode are really eye-widening
