So, the showing I went to had some technical problems. basically the aspect ratio was not correct for a good portion of the movie, to the point that in some shots the actors' heads wouldn't even appear in frame. They eventually corrected it (the third act played out normally), but I obviously asked for a refund. Not the ideal situation, however...

Bruh during the screening of the movie I noticed that someone briefly entered the room. Then when my friends and I were on our way to the counter to talk about the situation the guy behind it immediately went "I already know what happened, I'm sooo sorry. I'll refund u guys"

I connect more with realistic films cus that's what i intend to make. But I still enjoy a wild visual blockbuster from time to time. And if we compare this to like MCU movies it surpasses those with ease

+the buttplug award was funny but then the butt plug fight scene for me was trying too hard to be funny, same w the sausage fingers bit, and the rock w subtitle scene was also corny to me, also daughters costumes were really bad and some parts of the movie felt/looked cheap

mostly just not my type of humor + some aesthetic criticism but other than that i enjoyed it.
