How do you even get an idea like this to communicate your underlying message via this plot
When he’s begging them all to stop fighting and basically speaking to how we all feel in the world right now
His whole ‘being kind isn’t naive it’s strategic and necessary… it’s how I fight’
When he speaks to jamie lee Curtis auditor, connects with her as a human, she drops the charges, he starts singing and mopping the floor —> evelyn realising what he has done -> her hugging him, him dropping the mop and them embracing
Evelyn finally ‘unclenching her fist’ and everything that represents
Seen it 3 times in theatres and last 2 I’ve been thinking I’ll probably hold it together but it really gets me so good and I feel it all
I loveee Evelyn but Waymond really provides the whole emotional anchor for the film and Evelyn’s arc to work around
Waymond the MVP
Crying at what? Not tryna be a d*** but I can’t figure out what niggas was crying at lol
And I don’t mean that in a snob way I’ve definitely cried a little during movies too.
Look at this guy with a good relationship with his parents 🤣
Waymond the MVP
That actor’s phone GOTTA be ringing after this. Star Wars or DC or Marvel would be lucky to have an actor has charismatic and talented as him
Watched this right before bed last night and still processing what I saw
Ngl I actually had a nightmare about a similar scenario right after I watched
Unreal praise, I’m starting to notice a big disconnect between the me and the newer movies that receive this kind of praise.
I mean if all you watch is Marvel s*** I understand how this could blow your mind but if you’ve watched enough great movies this is just cool and that seems to be the general consensus with people who's opinion I respect when it comes to movies.
This movie has more in common with filmé movies than it does with marvel lol

I think someone nailed it earlier comparing it to a mix between Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind & Matrix

It’s a ride bro enjoy
just realised one thing this movie reminded me so much of
that south park episode where kyle finds out the tooth fairy isn't real and becomes an existentialist and gets obsessed with philosophy to the point where he stops existing and becomes every physical and living object at the same time

random but there has to be another person like me out there who noticed

You say that like it’s a bad thing

What the fgick I dont remember this ep
I'll get killed for this but this is slightly overrated. 7/10. It's a unique movie and stands out among the current crop of movies coming out today and I don't mind it being called a masterpiece but this just didn't hit home for me.
That whole second part was what made me not like this movie as much as others. This was when the themes of the movie - 'nothing matters', 'love and acceptance' came to full light but it all just felt too preachy. It's something that would have moved me if I was young but I just prefer a bit more subtlety when a movie appears to be giving a moral lesson. Felt like I was watching Naruto do his talknojutsu at some points
Saw in IMAX last night. For a movie with so many things going on, this got so much right. Such a unique movie to experience. Highly recommend.
It’s 2001 if Tarantino directed it basically.
Crazy description
I feel awful for people who didn’t get to see this in a cinema.
My session was packed and when the lights came up the energy you could see from other people was that we had all watched something special.
If this doesn’t show up at award season then the various academies lose credibility.

It is worlds away from Marvel.
People just think being contrarian these days makes them special.

People see the multiverse concept and say it's like marvel
