So is this show kind of an Andor S1 type thing where initial reactions were like “Yeah, this is one is actually pretty solid.” and as the season goes on people start to find it to actually be one of the best installments in the franchise?

Because reactions I’m hearing now feel as positive as peak GoT seasons.

Hard to compare it to peak GoT cause there’s not as many characters and it’s such a smaller scale in terms of the world and plot

But yeah I would say Andor is a solid comparison

I never understood why he never went with the Baratheon as opposed to sleeping in bushes

this show was alright aint no andor. And ALOT of people are rating this a lot higher than just solid

Zero filler. Mostly sticks to a single POV. Was written as a story with a beginning middle and end in mind. As much comedy as drama. Most prestige television is not giving you that.

And the gap between Andor S01 and S02 is large in my mind. Not to mention Rogue One being such an underwhelming capstone to the story.

The first three episodes of Andor S2 were genuinely terrible and made me wonder if the show had lost its step. Thankfully, the season got so much better after that and the back half is crazy
