FlowerI don't know why people even worry about Pete. He's only doing well in these 90% white flyover states that nobody cares about, he's not going to win the big and diverse states. California? Hawaii? Texas? New York?? You think he has any chance winning in NY where Bernie is from?
Before Iowa I was worried that people would actually vote for Warren but Bernie is holding on to the progressive vote and I'm no longer doubting that he's winning the whole thing. 2016 Hillary camp is divided up into Warren, Buttigieg and Biden while all the Bernie supporters are still united behind him and as long as that's the case, Bernie will win. The only thing that would stop his nomination is the DNC superdelegates.Nah, Pete represents a viable threat now. Before Iowa, he was only really polling high in that state, but now he’s gaining across moderate democrats everywhere. More importantly, Biden is losing support, splitting his black base between Steyer and Bernie. If Pete can convince the rest of the moderates that he’s a safer choice than Biden, he could easily win. The problem is, he’ll definitely lose against Trump

He can win any of these except Texas, Alabama, and maybe North Carolina. You have to keep in mind the black base isn’t all of the south, just the Carolinas through Louisiana. And he’s been growing on the white moderates a lot so idk so North Carolina, Virginia, and the states out west are that out of his reach

You also have to think, black people have very conservative ideologies. Like if the Republicans weren't so racist we'd see a lot more black Republicans. I believe there's even a Maya Angelou quote about that. So I wouldn't be surprised to see them vote for someone moderate. Klobuchar, mayo Pete, maybe Bloomberg. But I believe Bernie will do well with the younger black voters.
