I respect that even though I thought some individual tracks were borderline trash, I didn't go back to the album since it dropped and I liked mr morale and loved damn, gnx easily his worst

Maybe because GNX is newer but nothing on that album comes close to the best tracks off damn.

This was a very great album.

Yup, his rapping is much better on Damn, from the flows, cadence, lyrics.

Just a better album imo, always rated it fairly higher than most.

It's been a bunch of creative hip-hop albums that have overarching themes/concepts throughout the project since 2015.

That Danger mouse album is heat though.

It didn't make noise among the people who make threads like this unfortunately. But I'd say it made enough noise to the film community because it premiered at Sundance and won an award.

Another album that proves my overall point.

Yeah I don't really agree with op tbh, maybe in regards to mainstream hip hop artists but plenty of less known artists releasing brilliant music.
