Don’t you hate it when you spin an album for the first time and it’s on shuffle accidentally
Not bad as far as a first listen goes.
Nothing that grabbed me like Kerosene or Gospel, but still pretty good from front to back
Lovely Sewer trapped me I've had it on repeat
https://soundcloud.com/deletefootish/fear-evil-like-fire-yves-tumor-version
bizarro production choice, they're right
we were robbed wtf
It wunt no reason on gods green earth to add dnb to that song lmao
it's like them tiktoks where u see a delicious chicken sandwich and they start adding hot cheetos and mac n cheese
we were robbed wtf
u think that was robbery? u might flip when you hear the FELF OG
Feel Evil Like Fire so smooth
S*** grew on me Ngl. Had to run it back once it ended
so let me run this down lovely sewer got turned into 90s workout music with a stranger things intro and a budget Diana Gordon feature that could be solange
Fear evil like fire got a random layer of drum n bass added to it (??) and went from one of their nastiest beats ever to a confused prince song remixed by amon tobin
Heaven surrounds us like a hood is mixed like a 2016 metro boomin beat with that generic fade in intro and horrible ass transition into switch
Operator and meteora were mixed on a DS lite and arranged in audacity
The other songs that are good are just okay
F*** being nice this is absolute dogSHIT. Have some standards this is playpen music, yves making worse music should not be what people are considering their best music. I guess once an artist get famous it’s really just over. That s***ty FKA twigs producer from Caprisongs f***ed up songs on here bad lol. Why work with these mainstream people and ruin your whole sonic aesthetic and for what? This bullshit?
.....yeah anyway great album
Real music back
S*** grew on me Ngl. Had to run it back once it ended
"shit grew on me"
(It's the day of release)
I'm happy with this, not as strong as HTATM but this is great nonetheless. Meteora Blues, Parody & Operator was really movin me
i will say i am the slightest bit dissapointed with this. it feels like a regression of their sound more than a progression. there are still elements that i love and ill probably have the entire album in rotation for a while but i'd be lying if i said i wasn't left expecting more. album we'll probably grow one me the more i listen but that's just my initial thoughts after a couple listens
ngl it’s definitely the song structures he went with, he went from like punk pop (might be wrong) to more traditional punk / rock structures, it’s really what experience we’re used to

bro really thought he was cooking with this
Man's was on another level of rock music. I'm glad Yves is spearheading the new wave of it. I Wonder what Brian eno thinks of them
Imagine a Yves album produced by eno
some of that s*** is so cracked out its borderline unlistenable lmfao
what a goat
feel like lovely sewer and meteora blues are the only tracks im not crazy about
the drums are kind of stale on lovely sewer, like that song would be mindblowing drumless
and meteora blues is just like componently so dry like a dry ass smashing pumpkins song
some of that s*** is so cracked out its borderline unlistenable lmfao
what a goat
Eno was definitely on some other s***
instant classic off first listen
i might even like this more than Heaven to a Tortured Mind

why would you like it more than an album it doesn't have a single better song than?
^man's doesn't know what an opinion is
