Y'all being adults with functioning brains and y'all really think Metro threw shade at Drake before/after Heroes & Villains dropped, dissed Drake/Her Loss after it won BBMAs almost a year later and made 2 whole albums dissing him, crashing out on social media and calling him a pedophile, simply because he asked for a song from Metro weeks after his mother died?

I think Her Loss winning the Grammy definitely escalated things. They probably had a conversation and things were said by both of them that permanently burnt that bridge
Metro seems to have turned sour on Drake way before Drake ever asked him for Trance. That's what this feels like to me. If someone I f*** with did what Drake did to Metro (asked for a song weeks after my mom died), I'd definitely feel a way and if I had any respect for you, I'd call you personally and tell you you f***ed up and detail how you made me feel. If you're Drake in that situation, you'd listen and apologize and that'd be the end of that.
Maybe I still don't give you the song but I definitely won't crash out the way Metro did. I won't make 2 whole albums dissing you. I won't crash out on Twitter calling you a pedophile, especially if we've had a great relationship for years before that and I know you to be a decent person.
I'd be able to recognise that while you asking me for the song when you did was in bad taste, it wasn't necessarily malicious and I wouldn't necessarily burn a bridge off that one thing.
