I spend most of my days with fleeting thoughts. Writing. Listening. And collecting old Beach cruisers. The morning rides keep me on a hill of silence.
That silence in the morning its worth it in the long run

Thats dope lemme hold 2k
It’s cuz too many people out here do it. If I’m at the front of a red light I sometimes watch how many people drive thru the light with their phone out, I live in Florida which is notorious for bad drivers so it’s gotten real bad
the stupid meter for these drivers doubles every year bro
we both know how bad it is out here lmaooo
There are a lot of people with really bad awareness of their surroundings. Typically they are the ones who complain about stuff like this
you must live in Iowa or some s***
nigga put your phone in the trunk until destination
bet a lot of people do this. i know what you mean and you might have to forcibly train yourself
there’s a researcher who said phones/tech/social media are literally one of the hardest things for humans to put down today cause we’ve been conditioned to it like nothing before
Well it's more than just conditioning!
So for example, I know about my issue and so I told myself when I go to the gym, leave my phone.
Oh wait, I can't cus I NEED my phone to scan in, tf! So you're forced to have it on you or lock it in a locker (if you have a lock).
The phone is kinda similar. I mean, you might need it for GPS. OK, you can trade music for the radio, and CarPlay helps, but basically it gotta be next to you!
We went from wanting the phones to be next to us to now it basically has to be next to us a lot of the time

I swear it really does
well considering i’am on my 2nd ktt account after only a 6 month hiatus i’m right there with you lol

this site better than other social media platforms

true but considering how s*** social media is now that ain’t saying much
the conversation here is built on lack of moderation which has greatly increased today with social media, such as YouTube, where people find themselves having been on there for 6+ hours watching pointless content like buddy just said
it really is black and white tho. there are hundreds of millions of people who literally do this all day every day gang just change the device of choice lol
they been warning us since 2003 if not earlier like 1984 book type s*** lol. it’s a big deal and only gotten worse in an exceptionally rapid pace
!https://youtu.be/iGLzWdT7vGc?si=Z99G_-MbKmxjFjT9I’m not disagreeing with that part, sure it’s a slippery slope and you have to be cautious. But the way you word it it sounds like you take away rensposibility of the individual imo. I know plenty of people able to consume plenty of media while keeping their work, family, body and mental in tact
