Come To Life and Jesus Lord, 24 type things are emotionally "try hard" if not technically. like it must be emotionally exhausting to put pack that much into one song.
And its no coincidence these are 3 of his best songs since Yeezus
And its no coincidence these are 3 of his best songs since Yeezus
Exact Top 3 on DONDA to be specific.
Since tlop?
I can understand wolves
But the rest of the tracks he's still the star
Y'all really wilding fr
Not the whole album lol I’m saying that’s when i first time I said in my head “wow, turn that Kanye verse off” on his own project lol
I can find atleast one example on every album since, is my point lol

We gotta pay for this s***? Oh hell nah
I'm assuming you quoted the wrong post lol
Oh I thought you said I was Ye hater in general, not the album Ye lol
There was a video of him not too long ago re-recording the verse.
I saw it on a Youtube video, if I can find the video, I'll post it
I caught the video, the one Aus posted. But you couldn't really tell if Ye was freestyling in the background
Don't think that's the case with either album.
There's musical shortcomings for sure, but as far as being time capsules of exactly who he is in that moment, I don't really think they could be any better. There's a genuine sincerity to them that I miss in his more recent music.
JIK could definitely have been way better even at being a time capsule. He legit came up with way better ideas for Donda not even a month after JIK dropping.
Plus he was really overdoing the Jesus stuff during that time and even he admitted that in the thanksgiving prayer he did in 2021.
"Ghost Town" is mid.
But I guess I can see the appeal.

f*** u on bro just walk down the road 😭😭
Oh I thought you said I was Ye hater in general, not the album Ye lol
Oh hell nah lmao. Ye the GOAT but he's not perfect and ye is an awful album
This for what they did to Chris though?
man still has a career after beating the ever loving s*** out of a woman, poor guy.
then theres also the fact that he intentionally brings all the s***offenders to his listening parties and s***. as I asked earlier, is this him still taking his "Jesus wouldn't forsake them so I wont either" thing to its most reetarded extreme?
I think Chris beating up Rihanna
Was def f***ed up
Especially how bad he beat her
Idk the details like that
But wasn't he like 19 or something?
I also don't know bout anything else he's done besides that
But why is Chris still being held as a like a s*** person after almost 15 years I think
Rihanna already forgave him
And I think he apologized too
Basically the
Dis for what they did to Chris
(Y'all destroyed his career over a mistake)
Etc
Blah blah bla
At least JIK has amazing, rich production. You can tell ye was rushed and made in like 3 weeks. And it's not the focused 3 weeks that 808s got
JIK production is amazing but it would be 1 or 2 points higher if it was mastered better
cant say that about Ye
Don't think that's the case with either album.

I think he could very well have captured that time capsule feeling in both albums while reaching its potential
But you are right in the sense they do capture the era he was in for both albums
This is a prime example of lack of comprehension skills good lord
Education is so important children
So what did it say then
Please educate me teacher

just thinking about that moment Shake realized she made the cut and her reaction at the listening party makes me love the song even more
