slimreapercantrapim not saying the vulgar bars have excellent wordplay or whatever but they can be rlly fun and can add something extra to that moment in the song. my point is that Ye isn't going into the booth thinking "damn im boutta spit some knowledge" and coming up w s*** like "eating asian p**** all i need is sweet n sour sauce". he's obviously going for crude, vulgar, and shocking on purpose.
U can take issue w that as an artistic choice, but i think its a sign of undeveloped taste when u think its just a matter of him not being able to write something more traditionally good.
After about a decade, you can start to question if it’s an artistic choice or a bad habit or something. I think it’s kind of lazy at this point. It was cool for Yeezus and TLOP but it got tired

I've got nothing to add for actual discussion itt
album is clearly unfinished and won't be dropping friday, alot of the production apart from that everything song was really good to me, hooks all nice, but it needs work
it's in a better spot as of right now than donda 2 was or donda 1 at the first atlanta show
that was peak meltdown mode and he somewhat salvaged that, it'll be fine
not sure why anybody would expect an instant 10/10 classic with great kanye rapping on a ty dolla sign collab album
