Mar 30·2 repliesOHGRASSMANI feel like plenty of artists nowadays have one verse/short songs, Earl, Pinkpantheress. And even if you get one verse, its his best rapping in a decade. I see songs like circles as an interlude. Songs like Damn, yea he just repeats it over and over, but its crazy how good the song is still.
Theres no rules to music or art in general, there are many songs with one verse, sometimes just repeated, its not as conventional in hip hop but it is what it is,
Hip hop has only just started the less is more approach rather than saying too much because a hip hop track is “supposed” to have 3 verses
