Production seems very basic, From the way samples are chopped and looped to the actual choice of samples. As someone heavily into this type of production, This is terrible. Like I said in my other post, I find it funny Ye fans were saying Alchemist sucks only to turn around and praise Ye for the same reasons they gave for why Alc sucked.
It comes across like y’all don’t even listen to sample based production other than when Ye does it
The lyrics are completely irrelevant. I’m not with the AI bs. If you can’t even write your own lyrics then at least record them. This is the laziest thing I’ve ever seen him do

They basically were all just saying Alchemist sucked, All he does is loop samples, Doesn’t add anything and Ye would wash him any day of the week in a solo beat battle

i love the melodies, but yeah the production is nothing special.
it seems pretty clear at this point tho, that ye just hasn’t been any where near the actual production of the tracks in a loooong time.
and before i get a bunch of hate, im saying with like donda or w/e he probably directs things and gives them songs to sample. but the fact that he “made sample chops which his bare hands” being such a big deal kinda proves it imo.
no wonder the actual chops clears anything he’s done in years

this beat does nothing for me but I enjoy the majority of the sample usage on bully, different tastes. I also dont mind if sample usage is heavy/not super chopped up.

I like the beats on Bully more than what you posted. They have something eerie to them. Im not gonna disagree that its also mostly just sample chops but I guess its about how you use them. This 2chainz song sounds like the basic hip hop soul sample song. Something like Highs and Lows has a cinematic progression to it
