So when did he fall out of love with music
Can we find out which albums were released during that timeframe and remove them from canon
2022 or 2023 if I had to guess because Donda was still a pretty good album
“I like music again” is the oldest trick in the Ye marketing book, this is like the 5th time he’s pulled this one
I’m in regardless
this is one of 2 ye buttons
the other one is "THEY TRIED TO GET ME OUT OF HERE THEY TRIED TO CLONE ME WHERE DID THAT GET THEM IM STILL HERE! BALENCIAGA IS ASS AND ADIDAS IS FAT"

@Mmm_Hmm
We are so back
My lats are fully engaged
Since Lauryn hill retired basically

Tlop and beyond
Eh yeah I guess that makes sense because the vultures era was his most soulless ever
Literally, no clear direction at all which I feel all his albums prior had.
It is a collab so I can only assume the drive wasn't there which resulted in it being so lacklustre? We'll see with his next solo album.
Vultures 1 was pretty focused and super killer.
He promoted it and was proud of it.
It's pretty obviously about Vultures 2, which he didn't bother promoting and gave up on in May. Didn't record any vocals post April.
Didn't do any release posts until 5 days after the album was released (that too was by his chief of staff who took over his account for a month).
People speculating Donda are even dumber as the music itself and any behind the scenes footage or interview from around the time will show you how much he cared about it all. Hell he said he was sent by God to make music on Earth in a street interview a week after Donda dropping.
Based on what I've heard---this might be the best post prime Ye solo album(post Yeezus)
North West really was the saviour of music
Just how ye's dad wanted to abort him
Saved by his mom
Ye wanted to abort north
Saved by her mom
Both saviors of music

I ain’t really like ye for some years now but he got that dawg in him making beats. I’m in
IMO ye became uninspired with music WAY before vultures. The 7 track album Wyoming series was him getting “reinspired” after already being uninspired lol. That was the narrative around then
I’d say he started to lose inspiration around Pablo

Pablo was the first Ye album to sound like other rappers at the time. Not totally, but before that album nearly every Ye album sounded completely different from whatever the sound of rap was at the time. So makes sense
Was going through the chronological updates in OP and was getting a little excited until I saw Justin Laboy’s name
