like more than just any effects could do to their voice, the way they pronounce vocals and enunciate words on the tracks that seem like AI is completely different to normal

it sounds like someone else's voice modified to vaguely sound like ye or carti because it very much likely is. the tech behind it is becoming widespread and easily accessible to do, so of course there's gonna be artists dabbling in it

i think it's fine for writers refrences but just very weird and offputting when they just release those references and pass them off as their own voice

it's not actually AI generated, but it's a vocal effect that uses AI powered vocal models trained on acapellas of artists that can modify someones voice to sound like another artist

i think this is where the confusion comes up, because people seem to think that when people refer to AI songs that it's some kind of weird text to speech thing that should sound obviously robotic

when that's not the case, it still has some human qualities because it's still based on an actual vocal put into it, but it's very glitchy and can't make up for the slight differences of pronounciations and s*** that different voices have

which just makes it sound like a soulless copy or some kind of poor impression of an artist
