I feel like studying old s*** is not necessary

It's not if your discernment is up there, but that's not the case for the large majority of the human population

No, especially in hip hop niggas do not respect the niggas who became before them to the point where’s it’s blatant disrespect. This is a point that Tyler, who was s***ted on when he first came out, also brings up.

But where has Max ever moved in such a way? Which is where the energy in my comment is coming from

niggas are using this moment to conflate a topic that isn’t happening for the 3 subjects in video AFTER the nigga brought up the topic himself to the legends

how is it he doesn’t respect history…when he literally asked the question directly to a legend on how this s*** can be brought back together…it’s lame niggas that wish they were Max asking that question cause they “woulda handled it better” that’s so f***ing lame dawg idek how to describe it

  • Nayuta

Only right he link up with coonye then

Always funny when people act like s*** is above Kanye as if he hasn’t been a massive loser for years and forget him hanging with Milo and nick Fuentes

    Mos forgot

If you are a natural genius like Wayne, its true that you won't have to do as much research

But for most artists digging through art created before you to carve your own style is definitely important

Literally all the time he acts that way if you actually watched the niggas streams before lmao. The question is not reflective of the answer and you cannot spin every criticism of him as jealousy. I respect him for the platform he built but the community at large he’s cultivated does not respect hip hop nor the culture which he himself is directly responsible for.

the comments are literally jealously page 1 dawg

tired of these f***ing streamers everywhere dude doesn’t deserve a moment this f***ing cool

    followed by 8 likes on

dawg doesn’t even realize how cool a moment this is

like yea, all that overly fanned out s*** did not get him this far lmfaoo and I’m glad cause that’s lame as f*** niggas think they deserve it more cause they heard more hiphop songs

it’s the definition of being elitist about other listeners and their habits and not just watching the f***ing video and listening to Mos Def wisdom who was more than comfortable to educate Max in that moment knowing he’s clearly filming

Yeah Icl the deserve comment is kinda crazy considering the platform he’s built regardless if you like him or not. However there are other valid criticisms of him through out the thread. And him learning the history of rap, black art, fashion, will be both beneficial to him and his community

And that’s why he asked the question on live for his entire community to hear from a rap legend standing to Kanye and Tony Williams but we can’t talk about it cause all these niggas saw was “I hate Plaqueboymax”

like the thread and conversation doesn’t even start without Max asking the question so to follow that with niggas just blatantly hating for nothing ITT is lame as f***, I’m sorry

In one ear out the other. He ain’t listening

The purposeful condescending lean in like he just started listening after Mos was already talking for mad long woulda had me tryna smack his dermal out

just looks like 2 niggas more concerned with looking cool knowing they on stream than making music and entertaining the stream and makes sense they ain’t been back since

this basically adds to what I’m saying

I can assure you he didn’t ask that on behalf of his community lmao but I’m glad he got that answer. As a nigga who has also watched his streams when slayr Jace and lazer were first on his stream, I can also say the hate isn’t unfounded but I’m glad to see him mature as of lately.

it just seems like he’s genuinely trying to transition his community to something else while maintaining what built it, especially after that Forbes interview breaking down the business. idk, I just hate pointless hate and that’s how I read them first pages

jus saying "aint no just vibe twin" directly contradicts "he can't be no fan" "fanning out ain't get him here" with mos lol

in situations like that wit rappers you look like you ain't been there before doing all that even with yo lil iCarly s*** you got going on nigga lmao

just keeping it player a lost art to the new gen who don't wanna be criticized or modify their behaviors so I feel it lol

Nah no doubt, I just think that question wasn’t indicative of the concern of his community but rather a reaction of the beef’s ongoing in the mainstream and “underground”. I seen him try pivot more before when he first got cooning allegations then did some self reflection (although there is still some of the same points of contention). I’m glad he’s in these situations with someone like yasiin bey who has some damn sense and hope he takes it to heart because he is somewhat at the forefront of what’s to come

Whats interesting ab0ut remaking old s***

I rather artists just follow their intuition without bias

You're more likely to remake s*** you've never properly studied
