BillyShearsI don’t get the hate. Y’all listen to people who use autotune. Use voice processors. And rappers who barely annunciate their words. I’ve seen people say ai sounds unnatural. But so does Travis, Future, Carti, etc.
And, the software will get better. Like in two years you won’t be able to tell the difference between ai and real s***.
Why are you mad about ai? The arguments I see is that it’s lazy, and uncreative. How isn’t it the same as what we have today with less steps?
We’ve got singers who can’t sing. Rappers who can’t rap. And producers who don’t know how to play an instrument for at least a decade now. Reference tracks. I heard Drake don’t even write his own raps :smokingduck: He just says them in a mic and 40 makes it sound better on his laptop.
Music has been about what the computer can do for a while now. We listen to drums that no one hit. Horns that no one blew into. And strings no one plucked. So what’s the big deal with vocals that no sang? Y’all sound like f***ing old heads.
Its a lot of factors as to why you’re right but its no point in trying to have the convo with niggas who have made their mind up bc of an internet bandwagon
Theyre just gonna make it so that there will never be a law or something that makes it so s*** has to be publicly labeled AI which is ghe only way to save us from the valid aspects of what theyre worried about: when it gets good enough to just hit a button and make something release ready s*** does get murky.
But it also is kind of a tool until that happens however the cat is out the bag. Legislation the only thing that can save it now but niggas so focused on giving their funky ass opinion out they dont realize companies will never agree to publicly labeling s*** AI as long as they have this internet stubborn bandwagon lmao and they arent gonna make companies NOT use it
