    At a Christmas party a month ago, a poker friend of mine (trump guy) insisted Epstein was a genius. “Bad guy but a genius” or something like that.

    Is this some common view of Epstein in conversations on the right or something? Because I have seen nothing to indicate such intelligence. I think it’s just the dumb default American worldview to view the rich and powerful as supremely intelligent

    I fear that such myth/making characterizations of him allow the whole thing to be swept under the rug because the “mastermind” is now dead. When in reality he was a chosen stooge in an unspeakable billionaire- and intelligence-backed criminal conspiracy
