Jul 27, 2020·edited·2 repliesIf you had told me we'd go 1-2 against the Yankees without Soto or Strasburg, that would have been OK with me. But the way it happened was infuriating. Not having Soto allowed them to intent walk Howie and it got them out of two major jams.
There are good signs though. Trea finally woke up, Robles looks set to reach the next level, Cabrera is still good, Eaton is raking, Corbin was great, etc. We don't look bad, just slightly undermanned at the highest level, which we are right now.

Well said brother. We even had a surprise outing from Erick Fedde that turned out to be really good for us, and our bullpen bloomed. And yeah, Cabrera, Robles and Eaton have been all over the place. This is gonna be a good year, I trust in this team even in this situation, even more with Soto in the lineup.
