It would create confusion amongst the audience if The Batman 2 was included in a DC Studios slate but wasn’t a part of DC Studios canon

If Gunn is really taking inspiration from the 1978 film for his version of Superman, then Reeves’s Batman wouldn’t fit tonally or stylistically whatsoever
