If you haven't read the script that accompanies the album your opinion is invalid. One of the most inventive things I've ever experienced with music. That script takes the album to the next level

fr but seems like this thread getting less hate then they used to
if gambino never made music again after this i wouldve been completely fine with that . this is a timeless piece of art that still gets endless plays from me everytime come back to it . very few modern artists come close to what this album accomplished tbh everything from the rollout to the cover art is pure perfection

I was just reading an article about how black people think DG is corny
This album isn’t a classic but it’s very good. I think the term classic has lost all of its meaning at this point. That’s not a slight at this particular album but the way people say anything is just a classic is old and played out.
Just because an album is really good doesn’t mean it’s a f***ing classic
judged over a period of time to be of the highest quality and outstanding of its kind.
Hell nah.
It is a classic and anyone who disagrees is just a hater desperately tryna move the goalposts on what constitutes a classic album.
The real conversation is camp wasn’t that bad
It isn't but having been a big fan of that album it did age pretty poorly and I'd say it's around the 6/10 mark. That being said the tracks that are good still hit and have aged well. IE: LES, All The Shine, Letter Home, Outside, Firefly, and Hold You Down
