This is actually something I think about a lot on here. Do y’all think the age demographic of this site will increase as we increase in age, or do you think as we get older we’ll phase it out while a new generation of kids will take over?

you think being a man is easy? LOL

• you have to provide for a woman/family (despite this idea that woman dont care about how much you make, oh they do)

• you aren't expected to show any mental health issues because its a sign of weakness

• men dont make friends nearly as easily as women

• men die at higher rates in terms of deaths of despair, studies all prove this

yeah because men in the black community have been homophobic and transphobic forever and thats slowly starting to change.

but none of what i said has been directed at women (except the income thing because women have literally told me they want a man to provide for them)
i understand that these problems (ex. mental health) are because men have this tough guy facade that they want to uphold

The workplace is no place to show vulnerability in that sense regardless. But you can also eliminate that by choosing your friends wisely and becoming more secure in yourself. I have no issues showing my emotions and opening up to the people around me.

Why is it that men at large seem more at risk for suicides and depression, like why is the mental health in men much more worse than women's?

When something touches a particular group at large in a disproportionate manner then it means that there's a systemic reason for it and that individual actions are not necessarily enough to stop it
