Men don't make friends as easily as women
I also don’t really think this is true lol I be bonding with other dudes over the randomest s***
This is actually something I think about a lot on here. Do y’all think the age demographic of this site will increase as we increase in age, or do you think as we get older we’ll phase it out while a new generation of kids will take over?
It has
Ever since 2011 when it was real meta people who were like 14 back then were saying we’d be losers if we were here by 21-25 lol
Yet here we are
you think being a man is easy? LOL
you have to provide for a woman/family (despite this idea that woman dont care about how much you make, oh they do)
you aren't expected to show any mental health issues because its a sign of weakness
men dont make friends nearly as easily as women
men die at higher rates in terms of deaths of despair, studies all prove this
This isn’t all true fam
The first 3 things are things you need to step away from the internet and see that they are not absolute and are wrong
Especially friends thing. Men can make friends way easier than girls can
I also don’t really think this is true lol I be bonding with other dudes over the randomest s***
Big facts lmao niggas be becoming best friends for years simply cause they like the same f***in sports team

Sheesh I think you’re right
I wanna make a thread about this lol
Some y'all niggas some b****es man.
Lots of niggas whining ITT should just be MTF. Claiming that they can't make friends because they're men ffs
You know there's a reason the dude in your avy stayed in the closet for an early part of his life. Can you guess why it is that a Black man would have to stay in the closet?
yeah because men in the black community have been homophobic and transphobic forever and thats slowly starting to change.
but none of what i said has been directed at women (except the income thing because women have literally told me they want a man to provide for them)
i understand that these problems (ex. mental health) are because men have this tough guy facade that they want to uphold
Sheesh I think you’re right

Was thinking about it myself but feel free
You’ll still see a bunch of salty middle age men b****ing at Synopsis in a decade
It’s already been 10 years

So you understand that many of the things men go through and deal with in life is a result of...
Men.
i'm still dead at dude who said that bleeding outcha p**** every month for a good portion of your life isn't a con and is just "a feature"
I still can't tell if that dude wants a genuine discussion or his laughing behind his keyboard rn reading my serious responses to him
Big facts lmao niggas be becoming best friends for years simply cause they like the same f***in sports team
Latest friend I made was because we had the same glasses

yes men are s***. women arent absolved from everything either though. why? cause humans are s***
The workplace is no place to show vulnerability in that sense regardless. But you can also eliminate that by choosing your friends wisely and becoming more secure in yourself. I have no issues showing my emotions and opening up to the people around me.
Why is it that men at large seem more at risk for suicides and depression, like why is the mental health in men much more worse than women's?
When something touches a particular group at large in a disproportionate manner then it means that there's a systemic reason for it and that individual actions are not necessarily enough to stop it
aint no we nigga that aint got s*** to do with niggas like me 😭
lmao straight up bro
this is why i dont get offended when people say men are trash or whatever else
i know im a standup guy
This isn’t all true fam

Men are super standoffish IRL, and even my close guy friends rarely say whats on their mind, let alone serious mental heal issues they may have
the sisterhood is a thing for a reason
We’re gonna be watching lives downhill for a decades to come on here
gonna need a case study

because the united states is a masculine culture that valued men putting their own emotions, identity, etc. at the bottom of the totem pole so they would be able to advance in life, fit stereotypes, be seen as desirable, etc. etc.
look at how many people flipped the f*** out about that simple ass gilette commercial about how men can be better
Men are super standoffish IRL, and even my close guy friends rarely say whats on their mind, let alone serious mental heal issues they may have
the sisterhood is a thing for a reason
thats because of the toxic masculinity that is result of men
again
once again
and this is one of the reasons why men are mentally ill that much because they cant feel s*** and cant show their feelings
because of the man. again

I’m not disagreeing with this at all as I deal with mental issues myself. I just feel the workplace is no place to let those things out you know? I have a therapist and I feel I benefit highly from the private conversations we have together
