There are legitimate weirdos who aren't just fans, they are borderline psychotic over these artists. It definitely is more of a problem nowadays because everything is over the screen. Yeah but at least these athletes are actually talented and bust their ass off on the field for their country, city or school. Most of the rappers these people stan are glorified and praised for dropping mid boring songs.

That's normal, you're right about those people who dedicate their lives to these artists. It's weird, it's definitely borderline delusion. Especially when you factor in the hostility and anger some people have when you disagree with them.
