There’s a difference between being a big dedicated fan and a stan. Stan culture is so toxic. A lot of them are pathetic. They will legitimately buy multiple copies of a song to get their favorite artist to go number 1. Like I love supporting my favorite artists by buying merchandise if it looks good and a vinyl. However it baffles me why people waste their hard earned money on multiple copies. As well as bullying anyone who disagrees with them.

I heard about a reality tv show host that killed themselves some weeks ago (British tv) and kehlani attempted due to slander mainly on social media
To act like its "THe SaMe ThINg as KtT" is foolish imo.The only similarity between ktt and Stan Twitter is that we discuss pop culture.
This site is way more monitored plus there's a sense of community since there aren't many posters on here (in comparison to Twitter with millions)
I don't think anyone could get away with telling someone to slit their wrist unironicaly without getting jumped virtually by other posters and eventually banned.
Edit:doesn't mean there aren't weirdos on this site like the ones who harassed op, maybe the percentage of toxic people on Twitter is bigger due to their huge following which makes it seems like somethings wrong with their platform all together
This site does have some weirdos like the guy from yesterday who bragged that he listens to taller rappers than me and tried to intimidate me through a screen, but yeah most ppl here are pretty reasonable.
