I also would like to clarify that this thread isn't based only on internet interactions, I've had lengthy talks with friends and family about this topic too on multiple occasions

They talk about plenty of mens issues on here they just always sprinkle some covert misogyny or homophobia in there to make the point

It's part of the problem, imo by doing this they also undermine their own issues, bexause who's gonna want to help someone who's constantly being an a****** to everyone?

I think on ktt1 you said years ago "only on ktt do you find men desperately trying to make their lifes worst & more depressing".

And that s*** has stuck with me even into real life. I appreciated that because not only do I agree & felt the same, but also it helps me steer myself back on track both online & irl.

It is a generalization, I admit it, I don't think all men think and act like that, but I've seen enough cases to feel like it's a widespread issue
