And I’m not gonna cap most of the niggas I seen out here reacting to non black POC saying nigga are black folks that ain’t even become proud of their blackness till like 2014.
I’m not gonna justify non black POC saying that s*** or say that it’s okay but a lot of the outrage on the internet and in person be forced.
Cuz even as an adult I haven’t seen niggas that actually grew up in the hood react to that s*** like I see the suburban kids do on the internet
I've been black my entire life raised by 2 militant black people in the hood and projects and a whole black militant family that has respect for themselves to not let any non-black poc call them a nigga.

Ehh idk if this is gonna anger folks but growing up in NYC as a kid, I was used to hearing Puerto Rican’s and Dominicans saying the word growing up.
Like I can somewhat understand people who ain’t from the east coast getting pissed over their use of it.
But growing up in hoods where we were all bunched up together and going through a lot of the same BS I never really reacted to it.
Not to mention growing up there was a serious sense of community among us.
Bruh about 90% of Dominicans are black lmao.

You’re clearly pointing out Dominicans and Puerto Ricans and saying that you can understand non East Coasters being upset by their usage of it but that would make no sense because if they’re Puerto Rican and especially Dominican saying that word the chances are they’re most likely black. and my initial post wasn’t even me saying whether or not that the hood isn’t the “nigga pass center” or that it’s right that Latinos day it.
It was just the fact that I’ve seen PRs/Dominicans say the word with little to no backlash in environments I grew up in

It's almost like you believe hood Black people are automatically more proud to be Black and the only proper way of that expression, when often times it's about Black people in the suburbs having no connection with other Black people rather than them having an issue being Black.
There are Black people in the hood who have no concept of knowing them being Black in the hood isn't the same as everyone nb in the hood and think s*** is even like that across the board.
That doesn't make them any more in tune with their culture that makes them easier to be mules for non blacks to look to for support. That support is not always returned. Hence why Black people are in the hood in a disparaging amount.

Suburb niggas aren’t proud because they deal with closet racism from their classmates every day and have no other black people to find comfort in.
They’re young their mind is susceptible to being manipulated by the white majority around them and trick them into hating themselves because they don’t achieve the same social success as their white peers (getting girls’/guys’ affection, seeing authoritative figures that look like them, having a bunch of white teachers teach you about slavery, etc...)
Sad but usually around adolescence they realize f*** all that s***. I remember first being taught about MLK and feeling so f***ing powerful.
I remember Obama winning the presidency and feeling so happy that someone that looked like me was the president cuz when I was little I dreamed of being president hahaha.
I wouldn’t really blame it on the kids man more so the environment.
