all of these except Honestly Nevermind have very weak uninspired songwriting, which doesn't lend itself well to dance music as a medium. no real emotionality, passion, grooves to latch onto either. compare those to Renaissance for example which has that in spades all over the album

being an HNVM truther but hating deadbeat is certainly a choice

  • Because they don’t really listen to that kind of music

also, that harry album is by far the worst of those in the OP

even if you didn't like the tyler, drake, or tame albums, i feel like you can come away with one or two songs you enjoyed

literally nothing on that harry s*** was redeemable

  • Also like the audacity of a lot of people who just think they can cross over cause they got it like that. And then they just fall flat on their face

  • Mar 9

honestly nevermind a classic and that tame impala album isnt that bad

  • cause label execs tell them to make it accessible. easy listening music sells better than experimental stuff in the Spotify era

  • Childhood

you know honestly nevermind clears that s*** stop. join the right side of history

  • Again

lmao i have news for you

    Go ahead

  • Sarpanchsaab

Flights booked, overdrive, texts go green, sticky, massive

    HNVM A CLASSIC

  • Honestly Nevermind was so f***ing good man. I will never in my life understand how it got so much hate. Mfs call me crazy every time I that it’s in my top 5 Drake albums lol. People don’t know how to have fun smh

  • Mar 9

Because most of them don’t even dance

  • Mar 9

I wouldn’t trust any of these guys to hold it down when they open up the dance circle in the club. Too stiff

listen to old chicago house music and you’ll immediately understand why

  • i appreciate @op effort so let me not be snarky, but a lot of these guys just don’t have the voice required to make a great dance album

charli is carried by her producers. they have a lot of chemistry and are interested in making unique sonic worlds for their audiences. she’s the exception

this kinda music demands a great voice to elevate it, or else it easily becomes forgettable. that’s how i feel when it comes to my taste

  • aint jus the men if we bein 100%

    honestly nevermind is mid tbh

good singles with a lot of lame ass filler

the nail in the coffin was putting jimmy cooks on there. It's like ok he wasn't authentic. He was scared to go all the way. Throw 21 savage on there for the fans who only listen to one or two genres of music.

also i really dont like modern dance music

you can't dance to it the way it was designed

you can dance to candy by cameo

dance music was popular in the 70s and 80s in the clubs because people were actually dancing lol. Nowadays, these artist make so called dance music but it's not really dance music tbh. Build the DJ set and watch niggas pull out their phones. Dance music era died a long time ago.

  • texts go green like the only full bodied song on that notorious album; overhated but its not a misunderstood gem lol

also very telling how the only album by a woman anyone has bothered to mention is renaissance cuzz that was mid too
