It kinda makes sense from the EU's perspective

Can't productively recycle carbon fiber, production is toxic, carbon fiber waste in a lot of industries is getting worse as it's being mass produced for the typical consumer, filament goes everywhere when it's broken and seeps into the environment, etc.

But this is going to really kneecap future automotive/aeronautic/bike/etc. design in Europe. My guess it that they're just going to regulate it heavily instead. Full ban would be too much

@op you ever get into tracking? been doing it the last 3-4 years and instructing now. its a blast but gawd damn it hurts the wallet.

Went 3 times but the tracks sucks here.

Okay I haven’t been out there for roads to be fair. But I have been up to muskoka and out in Hamilton and there’s some nice stuff but nothing like mountains.

Was in Banff recently and man I wish I had a fun car out there.
