I ain't never hear of that s***, but you'll be able to ask more questions during the appointment for sure and get an in-depth explanation. May your wife and I both get that wet wet!

They'll probably give you a combo of stuff to use initially, some regular ass eyedrops you can use as much as you like and possibly some medicated stuff with a set schedule for a bit.
Hope all goes well for you, man - should be fine, though. Also, don't be surprised if your vision afterwards isn't spectacular for a few days - you hear these goofy miracle stories about people driving home afterwards and s***, but that's bull from what I can tell. You'll probably be wearing big sunnies or some s*** for a few days, and it'll take a while for your eyes to adjust. Important thing is not to panic or worry and just let the healing process happen.

me, but i plan on getting the procedure next year. i wanna wake up with everything in 8K
I got LASIK back in 2012, and while I don't necessarily regret it, I feel like the long term effects weren't fully spelled out for me back in the day.
The eye dryness these days, honestly, is pretty nuts - drops every morning, a different type of drop in the afternoon, occasionally more in the evening, and then I have to sleep with a sort of gel on my eyes at night.
And even then, that just gets me to like, manageable levels of dryness. Ain't no going back, or undoing it, or fixing it - this is basically what I'm stuck with, according to the specialists, unless I wanna surgically insert silicone tubes into my tearducts to potentially improve the situation.
Damn this scares me. But 2012 more than a decade ago, they've probably improved the efficiency of the procedure a whole lot since then?

There's new innovations since then like SMILE and some other s*** which are less invasive or more effective, but I don't know anyone that's actually got those so I can't speak directly on it.
Guess we'll know more when we hear from Danny in a week or so
can I pay them to f*** my eyes up on purpose so I never have to watch the bears play again
